As a member of the Modern Warfare weapons roster, the RAAL MG presents itself as a distinct alternative in case you’ve grown tired of Black Ops: Cold War options in recent time, with a focus on effective damage range and the firepower you come to expect from an LMG. This page will cover how to unlock the RAAL MG in the swiftest way possible, and the best RAAL MG loadout and RAAL MG class recommendations to make the most of it. On this page: For more explainers, read our selection of best Warzone weapon recommendations, as well as deep dives into popular picks such as the CARV.2, FARA 83, Stoner 63, AK-47, Bullfrog and PPSh 41. In order to unlock the RAAL MG, you must get five kills across seven different matches while using LMGs equipped with a Scout Optic. It’s a rather straightforward task that won’t take you long to achieve. That being said, make sure to double check that you’re using the Scout Optic in the loadout of your LMG of choice. If you’re opting for Modern Warfare, any Team Deathmatch playlists would be great for this. Plus, you don’t need to stay for the whole match, so it should be done fairly quickly. In Warzone, the choice is up to you, really. We recommend you to stay away from battle royale to save up time, and instead focus on either Plunder or Rebirth - either will do the job just fine.
Muzzle: RAAL Monocore Barrel: 25.8" Task Force Laser: Tac Laser Underbarrel: FFS Oblique Ammunition: 150 Round Belt
Let’s start with the muzzle. You’ll want to equip the RAAL Monocore for this weapon, as it improves damage range as well as adding sound suppression, of course. Aim down sight speed and aim walking steadiness are hit as a result, but not by much. Onto the barrel. We opted for the 32.0" RAAL Line Breaker, which doubles down on the added damage rage of the muzzle, as well as improving both bullet velocity and recoil control. ADS and movement speeds will be reduced as a trade-off, but it’s worth having it. In the underbarrel slot, the FFS Oblique is perfect to add recoil control and improving the ADS speed, which is the target of several of the attachments we opted. In this case, movement speed is hit slightly as a return. No optic or stock for this particular build. Instead, we recommend pairing the RAAL MG with a laser. We’ve found the Tac Laser to be the best option, granting better ADS speed, aiming stability and aim walking steadiness. It comes with the downside of a visible laser to enemies, but it’s a must have to balance the cons of the other attachments. Lastly, we have opted for the 150 Round Belt, which gives you a magazine size akin to an LMG. While the 50 Round Belts attachment is a good option due to all the pros it has, the difference in size is a big downside. Our choice has an impact to ADS and movement speeds, but only slightly. Perk 1: Quick Fix (Unlocks at level 42) Perk 2: Overkill (Unlocks at level 38) Perk 3: Amped (Unlocks at level 1) Secondary: Swiss K31 (Unlocks by getting 2 Headshot kills in 15 different completed matches using any sniper rifle) Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor (Unlocks at level 30) Lethal: Claymore (Unlocks at level 1)
With this RAAL MG build it won’t take you long to start taking down enemies, which is why beginning health regeneration immediately after each battle with Quick Fix makes for a great combo. As per usual, if level 42 sounds a bit steep, we recommend opting for E.O.D. as it will help to mitigate damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire until you can unlock this perk. We recommend opting for Overkill as the second perk. As for our weapon of choice, the Swiss K31 is the perfect pair. This sniper rifle is fast and serves as a great lightweight counterpart. If a target manages to sneak past your sniper, don’t fret, as Amped will increase the speed of switching between weapons. Rounding out the equipment is the Heartbeat Sensor, perfect for pinpointing nearby enemy locations. Lastly, the Claymore is excellent for defending against specific points against aggressive enemy players.
