Suicune is also one of the hardest Pokémon to photograph in the game, because, not only do you need to unlock the alternative route for the Shiver Snowfields to find it, but it moves very quickly. This can make completing the Wish Upon a Shining Star LenTalk Request and, more importantly, taking a four star Suciune photo rather difficult if you’re not prepared. On this page: Once you’ve achieved this, head to the Snowfields (Night) course on Research Level 2. Your first task is to use the alternative route to reach the lake and, once you’re there, look for the Jynx travelling on the back of an Avalugg. This Avalugg will appear on your right-hand side as you exit the cave and will stay within the lake, swimming to the shore before heading north. To make Suicune appear, you need to hit the Jynx on its back with an Illumina Orbs until she throws her hands in the air. This should only take you one Ilumina Orb and a bit of practice to ensure you hit her correctly. After she’s completed this action, turn your attention to the far end of your cliff on your right-hand side, which is where Suicune will eventually appear. You may find yourself waiting for a good number of seconds for Suicune to make an appearance, but, as long as you successfully hit Jynx with an Illumina Orb, this legendary Pokémon will make an appearance. When Suicune does appear, it will run across the lake, going in front of the two Beartic, before running across the ice and turning to the left, so that it travels behind the Aurorus which stands near the end of the course. Taking a photo of Suciune running past you will result in a one star photo, which will also help you complete the Wish Upon a Shining Star LenTalk request. First, you need to summon Suicune by following the steps outlined above and, once it appears, start throwing Illumina Orbs at it. Thanks to how fast Suicune runs, this can take a certain amount of practise, so don’t worry if you don’t hit Suicune on your first try. The best place to hit Suicune is just after it’s run past the Beartics, because, when running, this will be the closest you’ll get to the Pokémon. If you hit Suicune with enough Illumina Orbs, it will come to a stop on the edge of the shore. When it does so, toss another Illumina Orb at it to make Suicune walk towards the nearby Delibird. Once Suicune is close to Delibird, toss a final Illumina Orb at Suicune and it will perform the move blizzard; any photo you take of Suicune performing this move will be a four star photograph. If, however, you’re looking for a three star picture, then photograph Suicune simply when it’s near Delibird or feed it a Fluffruit.
