This challenge is only available during Week 4 of this season and, to unlock it, you must first search for farm clues, visit Farmer Steel’s favourite places and place missing person signs.
There are two locations where you can find the doomsday preppers guide, but you only need to grab it once. Aside from other players getting in the way, it’s a rather straightforward challenge if you know exactly where to look so you can plan a fast escape.
Completing this Fortnite challenge will help you level up and unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 7 Battle Pass skins.

It’s a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Steamy Stacks is a big place and it may not be clear with the map alone, but don’t fret. All you have to do is enter the tower that is right before the second reactor (if you’re looking at the map).
It has a distinct set of doors, which are orange, in both ground and first floor levels. If you land from the bus on top of the first floor, that’s okay. Just head down using the ladders and, once on the first floor, turn around to see the guide on the floor next to the ladder and some boxes.
If you end up landing closer to Slurpy Swamp or Misty Meadows, there’s another chance for you to grab this item.

Looking at the in-game map, we recommend you to take the northern entrance to Hydro 16. Get through the door and you’ll see machinery around you.
If you look at the other side of the interior, you’ll notice a light blue door with its windows broken.
It’s exactly at the side of the staircase that leads upstairs. Instead of going up, you’re gonna want to open that door and look at the ground to your left. There’s the doomsday preppers guide.
